The report I got was over 40 shots at sailfish! It wont be long before those fish are here so book you a charter soon!

Fishing jupiter

The Endorfin fished again out of Jupiter Fl. with Chad Jackson and hi two sons and brother. We set out this morning and were hit by the dolphin ( mahi mahi ) and caught 3 . We circled back and caught 3 more! Chad said that was enough dolphin , let's go for some Sailfish. Shortly after we raised a covey but didn't connect. ( they were trying to hook their own and to be fair Dan missed one too) We caught another dolphin by "accident" and then found the sailfish again! We hooked a double header that really gave us a fit! One going north and one going south! It took a few minutes but we managed to get them both! We raised a couple more that just didn't want to eat. South west wind kinda killed the end of the day for the sails. We all had a great time and I can't wait until the next time I fish with the Jackson's !

wind wind and more wind

The wind just won't stop blowing! I have had to cancel a few trips over the last week but it looks as if it may fall out tomorrow. I'm counting on it! A few boats did make it out today but the fishing was pretty slow and I'm sure it was plenty choppy too. Hopefully tomorrow will bring better fishing as well as weather. We still have some days open next week before we take off to Ocean City to fish in the white marlin open. We will be coming back from Ocean City on the 8th and will be stopping @ [pirate's cove to fish the pirate's cove tournament that starts on the 11th. I will be available to fish charters on the 9th and 10th out of Oregon inlet. The white marlin bite is usually awesome that time of year. Hence the tournament!

We had a great time today fishing with Seth Hale and Bill Craft and their family's. We started the day with 1 out of 2 sails. We set back out and a little later we caught another single sailfish. We got going again and landed a few dolphin. Shortly after we hooked and caught a double header sailfish!! After that action we found a school of dolphin and caught 20 or 25 more. We picked at a few more before we called it a day. Another great day fishing aboard the Endorfin.

Hatteras Grand slam

We had 36 Boats fishing in our tournament this past weekend. The Endoefin fished with the Owner Steve Holman and a group of his friends. We had a great start catching the first billfish of the day with a sailfish in the first hour. We caught a few dolphin too. On day two we caught the 3rd fish of the day, giving us another good start! We soon after raised another sail but ..... let's just say we didn't get him. We caught a nice 27 lb wahoo ! Nice enough to take 1st place in the wahoo category!! We finished 5th I think over all and 1st on the wahoo.
Sailfishing is getting real good!! One boat today had 7!! I can't wait to go tomorrow! We still have open days for the next 2 weeks so let's go get em!!

I'm sorry I haven't given a report in a few days. I had family in town and the 4th was my son Hunter's birthday. I took him fishing for his day with my father and brother in-law Dan and Cody Whitehead, my wife Stacy and my youngest son Mason. We left the dock @ 8 am and were back around 10:30 with a limit of dolphin. Hunter said "it was the best birthday ever!".
Fishing over the last week has been just as good as that day with the dolphin and we caught a few sailfish too! Wahoos are finally getting here and there has been a few white and blue marlins seen and caught.
Let's go get them while the fishing is HOT!!

Hatteras fishing

Well the big rock is over thank goodness! It was very slow marlin fishing to say the least. We fished yesterday and caught another limit of dolphin before 8:30!! We looked around for some other meat fish and found some nice 40 lb amber jacks and had a big ol cobia on for a while but we parted ways. Everyone had a good time!
Today we fished with 3 dads and 3 sons from Va and Md. Robert Booser, Glen Lucas, Marc Lucas and the boys Aric, Samual, Michael. It started a little slower for us this morning. We caught some nice gaffer dolphin early then made a stop to catch some amber jack. They were not biting good though we did catch 2. We went back to looking around and found a sailfish!! A little later we caught some more gaffers and then the bailers showed up. The guys did an awesome job catching the fish and we had our limit in no time!! I think there are three boys who are hooked on fishing now! Awesome day with a great bunch of guys. I look forward to the next time we fish together!

The Endorfin fished again today with Bo Slaton of Richmond Va and his friends Jim , Marvin, Skip and Hunter. We started the morning looking for tuna but they were not biting where they were yesterday. In our search we found a mega school of dolphin and caught a limit ( 60 fish ) in no time. I heard of a tuna bite up the way so we trolled up the line until we got there and caught a couple of nice yellow fin tunas. They were the 45 to 60 lb class. They had a great time and said they will be back to fish with us again real soon!

inshore fishing

The Endorfin fished a 1/2 day inshore trip this morning with Kelly Smallwood and her husband and friends. Fishing was AWESOME!! We started catching Spanish mackerel right away. we caught them as fast as we could for the first hour or so. After that we moved off to a wreck but didn't have much luck there so we came back in shore to look for a cobia. We never go an eye on one so we set the trolling rods back out and caught more Spanish and blue fish!! We ended up with 85 Spanish and 15 or so blue fish. An awesome half day. 125 lbs of fish!!

We fished today with Allen Guffy and his family. We decided to look for the tuna first thing. I set out on a great spot and soon found a school of tuna and had a bite on every line !! Six of them got the hooks and we landed 4 of the 6 nice 45 lb yellowfin tunas! I stayed in the area for most of the day and caught a dozen or so gaffer dolphin but didn't get hit with the tuna again. Shortly after lunch they said we have enough meat, how about we start for home? We came in 1 1/2 hrs early. We all had a great time once again!! I can't wait to fish with Allen and his crew again!!

We fished today with the one and only Rusty "Premo" Gibbs and his crew. We hit some nice gaffer dolphin right out of the gate ! Things were slow for a while until we found a float that was holding a bunch more dolphin. We caught around 15 or so in that school then we moved offshore a little to look for a marlin. We had one small encounter with a bill fish but he never came back. We jigged a few amber jacks at the end of the day and came on back home. A great bunch of guys to fish with and I hope to do it again real soon!!

May 22 hatteras fishing

We fished today with Sandy Johnson and her family. The dolphin fishing slowed today considerably. I had a hard time finding the few fish that were biting. We ended up with 4 or 5 dolphin and 5 amber jacks. The Johnson's still enjoyed a beautiful day on the ocean and will see us again in Fla.!

end of the HVOO

Well we were in the right spot and at the right time but we just didn't have the luck. We saw bill fish every day and the ones that were caught were near us. Congratulations to capt. Steve Garrett and the team on the Gambler. (my old boss) They weighed in a 530 pound blue marlin to win.
Dolphin fishing has gotten a lot better. The conditions are getting closer every day. The cobia fishing is the best it has been in a long time. There are lots of fish and big ones too!

The Hatteras village offshore open

We have been fishing in the HVOO since Wednesday. We have seen a lot of fish but just had some bad luck. We caught a 300 pounder on the first day! The only problem with that one was it bit 5 seconds after 3:00 and did not earn us any points. On day two we had a bite early that just didn't stick. About 2:45 we had another big blue on but pulled that one off too! I hope we are rid of the bad luck because tomorrow is the last day. Keep your fingers crossed!!

Monday, May 10, 2010

off shore fishing May 10th

We fished offshore today with Colorado resident Pete Dawson and his two sons. We still have to travel a good bit to get to the hot water in the gulf stream however we did have a good catch of gaffer dolphin to show for our travels. The Dawsons did a great job! At one point we had 5 fish on with only 3 anglers but they got the job done! Good job guys!!
The warm water is getting closer every day so the fishing should just keep getting better now! There were a few dolphin caught on the break today as well.
We Will be fishing the Hatteras village offshore open this week so wish us luck!!

cobia fishing on May 7

The Endorfin fished today for cobia about 1/2 mile off the beach . We saw a ton of fish!! There were pods popping up with 10 to 15 fish in them! W all had a great time catching them and had our limit (10 fish) plus a few we released in about three hours. Check out the pics on the teach's lair web site. The report I got from down south is there are still a lot of fish coming up so we should have some good cobia fishing for a while. Give me a call and we will get you out sight casting for these tasty fish!

Hatteras

Well, we made it to Hatteras yesterday afternoon and had a great trip with good weather.
We fished today with the owner Steve Holman and a group of friends. We had a bad start to the day with an oil return line breaking. We came back in took the old one off, had it fixed and put it back on intime to make it out before lunch. The tuna bite was kinda hit or miss today and with our late start we decided to bottom fish. We caught some good sized black sea bass and a tiger shark that weighed close to 300 pounds . We got back to the dock around 4:00 so they could fly back home. Some of the other boats that tuna fished cought 7 or 8 in the 50 to 60 pound range.
Give me a call and we will hook you up!!

Wednesday, March 31, 2010

3/25/2010 kings off palm beach

The Endorfin fished again today with Don Snyder and his family and friends. It was action packed from the first bait in the water. We caught a limit of king mackerel in short fashion! Everyone stayed busy for the first hour and a half then we were limited out. Awesome fishing!
We have only two more days in palm beach then it's off to Hatteras to get in on the tuna bite! We will be available for charter in Hatteras April 3rd or 4th. We are looking forward to a great season in Hatteras!! Give us a call so we can get you booked on a tuna trip!

Palm beach fishing 3/20

It was another great day fishing on the Endorfin. We fished with Harry Stackhouse and his lovely wife Melissa. Harry had his hands full this morning catching his limit plus on smoker kings. Melissa caught hers as well. They even let my son Hunter come along today and got his limit too. There were a few sailfish caught today mixed in with the kings. We never had one in our spread but I did see a free jumper, Our kings this morning were in the 20 to 35 pound range. Really nice fish!! We all had a great morning and Harry can't wait to get out with us again!

This afternoon we fished with Henry Martin and his daughter Amanda. We went back to the same spot and picked up where we left off. More big smoker kings. I have to say Amanda was putting it on Dad with the biggest fish until Henry redeemed himself with a fish in the 30 pound range of his own. It was great action all day!

We have some days open this week so give me a call while the fishing is hot!!

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Kings mackerel in palm beach

The Endorfin fished today with Gordon Trainer and his family. The king bite was pretty good first thing and got a little slow. We were two fish shy of a limit but they were nice fish in the 15 to 25 pound range. We also had a sailfish on for a good while but he came unglued about 50' from the boat. We didn't get to fly a flag but they got a good thrill watching him jump around. Everyone had a great time and I look forward to fishing with the Trainers again. Check our photo gallery for the pics of this trip.
We need a couple of people for April 10th in Hatteras for a full day tuna trip. Give us a call!

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

St. Patrick's day

We fished today with a group from TDS security. We had an awesome trip catching a limit of king mackerel. Everyone had a blast and said they can't wait until the next time! Don't forget to book your trip for Hatteras in April. Tuna fishing has already begun so call soon!

fishing last weekend

We went fishing with Steve Holman and his clients Frank , Todd and Brian. Fishing was pretty slow on Sat. We managed to catch a few Bonita a barracuda and a few bottom fish. Fishing over all was pretty slow for everyone. Sunday we went well off shore with the intention of deep dropping for swordfish. The conditions quickly deteriorated and made it impossible to hold near the bottom in 1800' of water. We put our trolling spread and looked hard for something that wasn't there. A few nice kings were caught early inside 100' but the afternoon produced little. It was a slow weekend but we still had fun as we always do.
The fishing in Hatteras has been much better than what we have here in Fla. right now so we have made the decision to head to Hatteras earlier than expected. I will be there some tine during the first week of April so give us a call and book your tuna trip today!

Tuesday, March 2, 2010

palm beach fishing 03/01/10

The Endorfin fished yesterday with Ed Elkins and his family and friends. We had a sailfish on right off the bat but he jumped around and finally threw the hook. We raised two more right afterwards but they just wouldn't eat. (we were even using live bait) We had a good amount of King mackerel bites during the day but didn't raise another sail.
There are still some sails here and there are tuna in Hatteras. Yellow fins, black fins and the giant blue fin tuna. They should stay around well into April. We are considering going back to Hatteras a little early to get in on the tuna action. I'm thinking right after Easter. Give us a call if you are interested in a Hatteras tuna trip in April. The fish are there so book a trip today!

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Palm beach fishing report

Fishing has been a little spotty lately. Sails have been a little hard to come by. There have been a few dolphin and wahoo bites but the king mackeral bite has been pretty good. If you really want to catch fish then the spanish mackeral is where it is at. They are just off the beach and is the action is as hot as it gets. After we catch a limit of spanish the spinner sharks are fun too. Give us a call and we will hook you up!

Sunday, February 7, 2010

Sunday fishing

As expected the wind went to the NNW this morning and the sailfish responded. The first boat in ( before noon ) released 7 sails. That was the best I saw but the others came in with 4 to 6 each. The least I saw was 2. The fish are still here so give us a call so we can book you a day!
The summer is starting to book up pretty fast so don't wait to book a trip for Hatteras this summer!

Saturday, February 6, 2010

palm beach fishing report

The wind continued to blow today. A few boats made it out and caught some sailfish. It seemed that 1 to 3 sails to the boat was the norm. The wind will go to the N or NW tonight and should make for some better fishing tomorrow.
Don't forget sailfish are not the only thing going. We also catch mahi mahi, king mackerel, wahoo, swordfish, bonita and more!
We can't go get them unless you call so give us a call today and let us put you on the big one!

Saturday, January 30, 2010

McAteer charter

The Endorfin fished again today with Will McAteer, his son Will jr and father in law Ronnie. While the ESE wind has kept the sailfish at bay for the last two days there was still some fish biting. We cot whammed by the Bonita catching 6 of 7 on the first pass. We caught a few more Bonita through out the morning and Will jr (6) had a blast catching the most!
The wind is supposed to go back to the north tomorrow so expect a report of more sails soon!

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

I was right! They snapped today! Only two boats fished out of sailfish marina today and they caught 19 sails between them on half day trips! The fish are here. Now is the time to book a charter. Give us a call and let's go fishing!!

Palm Beach sails

The Endorfin fished Sat the 23 with Curtis Cooper and some of his friends and family. While the fishing had slowed due to the wind changing to the east we still managed to catch a sailfish and a few mahi mahi for the dinner table. The fishing has been great. The boats have been coming in with double digit numbers of sails on most days . A cold front moved through last night and we have light north wind today. I'll bet they are snapping today!
